Philadelphia Walk to End Alzheimer’s 2019

When there is a cause that you care about, nothing will get in the way to show your support. The Philadelphia Walk to End Alzheimer’s event takes place Sunday, November 10th at Citizen’s Bank Park, and your participation counts. Did you know that 5.8 million Americans are currently living with Alzheimer’s disease today? With no known cure, hope is never lost for those affected—and you can help make a difference.

All funds raised help further the care, support, and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association. So, every step you take in this two-mile walk is for something greater. Enjoy the company of other supporters, hear their stories, and connect with the spirit of hope over fresh food, running shoes, and the vitality of a heartfelt community at the Philadelphia Walk to End Alzheimer’s.

After walking up an appetite, you can dig into something hot and fresh from Chank’s Pizza Cones. With mouthwatering flavors like chicken Caesar, buffalo chicken, barbecue pulled pork, and delicious dessert cones like Nutella and cannoli, there’s another reason to cross the finish line. So, be sure to bring your appetite to the Philadelphia Walk to End Alzheimer’s!

Held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for care, support, and research. Calling on supports of all ages and abilities, the fight against Alzheimer’s draws an inspired community.

Attendees must register to walk and are asked to make a personal donation.  Donations help raise funds in the fight against Alzheimer’s. Strollers and well-behaved dogs on leashes are allowed at this rain or shine event. T-shirts will be given to those who have raised a minimum of $100. So, get ready to walk and talk with countless others who support the cause and try something new at the Philadelphia Walk to End Alzheimer’s.

Registration for the Philadelphia Walk to End Alzheimer’s event begins at 9am with a Promise Garden Ceremony taking place at 10:45am. The walk will begin promptly at 11am.
